Last night I went to the RCA MA show and it was one of my favourite shows to date. I find it much more intresting going to shows that displays up and coming designer work! Rebecca Thomson was in my top 3 simply because I love every detail, form the print to the wool finishes. Her looks were some of the most refined and finished, from head to toe. Reminded me a bit of Louis Vuitton's A/W 2011 collection however with a less fetish approach!

Best & Worst bit about being a stylist...
Just found these pictures on my laptop! Ah memories. Best: Getting to play with all these clothes and styling many fun shoots with the most interesting people in London. Worst: Lugging them back and forth through the city and not having enough creative freedom. I continually wanted to adjust every item of clothing >>>>>>> Part of the reason I am now studying design!
Durham Find
The second I got to durham I rushed down to Ding Dong Vintage as I had heard great things. It didn't take me long to find this vintage leather embroider jacket that I now can't take off.
Ding Dong Vintage reminded me of what my mums closet used to look like before we stupidly decided to clear it out one day. It is a pretty similar story as to how this treasure trove came about. Fawn Cheyne opened the shop after her mum's lifetime of hoarding was beginning to swallow up their home in south shields. So Fawn opened the shop. What stood out for me about this vintage shop was that unlike other vintage shops everything is in amazing preowned condition! It has almost everything and anything you can think of. Please pay this place a visit! At the weekends there is also a vintage market in the area!
